About The Position

As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrols in Robert, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical and petrochemical location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to employees, visitors, and contractors, and contribute to a secure environment. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any unusual conditions or activities within the location, particularly those relevant to a chemical or petrochemical environment.
Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members regarding security-related matters.
Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in a timely and accurate manner as required by site protocols.
