As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. Requirements

CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors at the manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related breaches.
Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting individuals in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and observe for any unusual activity.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed written reports as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to support security-related operations and emergency response activities.
