As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication. This post requires driving responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. Requirements

A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific policies.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and visitors with inquiries and directions related to access procedures.
Carry out regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific procedures.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to report and address security-related issues or emergencies.
Participate in emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and/or lockdown procedures as directed by site policies.
