As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will play a key role in controlling access, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. This is a driving position. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
One or more of the following is required: at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of security supervisor or manager experience, or at least three years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access to restricted areas within the chemical or petrochemical location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related matters.
Remain alert to potential hazards and report any observed risks or suspicious activities to appropriate personnel.
