As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with established access-control procedures.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing activity at assigned screening points, verify authorized access, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including facility access points and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
