Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, screen visitors and/or team members, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have loss prevention experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, personal property, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or documentation, and report suspicious, unauthorized, or unusual activity to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken in required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, to help support security-related operations within a logistics and distribution location.
