Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location.
• Perform screening duties for people, personal items, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in support of security-related requirements and controlled access procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around designated screening areas, entry points, and the surrounding business and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Complete required logs, reports, and screening documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access by following post orders, emergency response procedures, and client-directed protocols.
