Join Allied Universal as a driving access control officer in a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will stay visible, support a welcoming atmosphere through strong customer service and communication, and bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access procedures, credential checks, and/or entry screening at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor and document the movement of personnel, deliveries, and/or vehicles entering and leaving the location, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and site protocols for security-related response activities.
• Communicate with site contacts, drivers, and/or guests regarding check-in requirements, restricted areas, and visitor processing while maintaining accurate logs and records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, shipping and receiving areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
