Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening entry requests, and supporting security-related protocols at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document access activity in accordance with site policies and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, with attention to access control concerns and site rules.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, assist with directing foot and/or vehicle traffic at controlled access points, and help to deter unauthorized entry through consistent presence and observation.
