As a Security Officer Bus Transit Customer Service in Montebello, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization as required, and maintain visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of public areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with city personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and the public while supporting orderly operations at the location.
