As a Security Officer Building Patrol Driver in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit activity, assist with access control practices, and communicate with property management and/or first responders when needed.
Support daily operations by reporting hazards, unusual conditions, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence throughout the property.
