As a Security Officer Building Concierge in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor alarms and communications, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor lobby and reception area activity, assist with access control processes, verify visitor information, and communicate with building personnel regarding authorized entry and/or delivery procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site policies.
  • Answer phones, greet guests, provide directions, and support general front desk operations in a professional manner within a commercial office location.
  • Complete required logs, visitor records, and other assigned documentation related to security-related activities and front desk responsibilities.
