About The Position

As a Security Officer Building Access Control in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer in an automotive manufacturing location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, welcome employees and visitors, and support a secure environment through attentive access procedures and clear communication. You will represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach while delivering a caring, people-first experience with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at an automotive manufacturing and corporate location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate access-control records.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, access concerns, and daily activity reports.
