As a Security Officer Building Patrol in San Juan Capistrano, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare laboratory location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of laboratory areas, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately; communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
