Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access and badge activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and people first, with integrity at the center of every interaction.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through required communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and activity across the property, documenting security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior for follow-up.
  • Support property operations by assisting with visitor directions, answering routine questions, and communicating with building management and/or emergency personnel when needed.
