As a Security Officer Building Access Control in Foothill Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access procedures, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and communicate clearly with the team. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at an automotive manufacturing and corporate location, verify credentials, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
  • Control access to restricted areas by reviewing identification, issuing and recovering visitor badges and keys, and reporting unauthorized access attempts according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events in accordance with established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
