About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol Officer in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing timely information with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, badge or visitor check-in activity, deliveries, and/or vendor access while following location protocols for restricted areas and sensitive operations.
• Complete routine reports on daily activities, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters, and communicate notable updates during shift handoff.
