About The Position

As a Security Officer Bilingual Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Professional at a financial institution location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor alarm and access systems, document incidents, and support timely responses to emerging situations. Requirements

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor dispatch communications, receive calls for service, document incidents, and coordinate responses with on-site personnel and emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records of incidents, alarms, access concerns, and communications in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Monitor security-related systems, alarms, cameras, and access activity, and communicate potential concerns to appropriate personnel.
