As a Security Officer Bilingual Dispatch in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a financial institution location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with officers, staff, and visitors. In this fast-paced role, you will help maintain awareness across the location while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is required.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
  • Monitor communications systems, dispatch officers to priority calls, and document incidents, alarms, and service requests in a timely and organized manner.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to site personnel, first responders, and/or management as needed.
  • Track activity across the location, maintain detailed logs and reports, and communicate updates regarding access issues, alarms, and other security-related concerns.
  • Support regular and random patrol operations by coordinating officer assignments, monitoring coverage, and reporting unusual activity around the business and perimeter.
