As a Security Officer Unarmed Bike Patrol in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government transportation location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, parking areas, transit-related spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas in accordance with established policies and applicable procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
