Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
