As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Lacey, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and maintain clear, professional communication. You will help create a secure, welcoming environment for employees, vendors, and guests while supporting daily operations through attentive service and sound judgment. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a retail distribution location, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel according to site procedures.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic, document arrivals and departures, and report access irregularities or suspicious activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, the business, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
