About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Perry, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage badges, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and professional communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, associates, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and communicating entry requirements at the location.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, and/or receiving areas to help to deter unauthorized access, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with attention to access points, loading areas, and other sensitive areas where conditions may vary by site.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other security-related documentation related to access activity, deliveries, and/or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.
