Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access while maintaining accurate access logs and related records.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, control points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity, report security-related concerns, and support site rules and procedures.
