Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through required communication and documentation processes.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and/or contractor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and policy violations.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing trailer movement, checking seals and/or documentation when required by site policy, and communicating security-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal management.
