About The Position
As a Security Officer Badge System Support in Westlake, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and assist visitors and employees with professional customer service. Use computer or tablet systems to document activity and communicate clearly with the team. Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services office location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned office areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor visitor access, maintain visitor logs, and provide professional directions and assistance to employees, guests, and vendors.
- Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures.
