About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Issuance in Redlands, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and help maintain a secure environment for employees, drivers, and deliveries. The role involves remaining visible to deter security-related incidents, communicating professionally, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a part-time position scheduled Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, paying $20.00 per hour. The position offers access to technology for viewing and claiming additional shifts, paid training, career growth opportunities, participation in a retirement savings plan, and discounts through the company’s Perks Program. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor information, and maintain accurate access and delivery records.
Screen and direct inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, coordinate with dispatch and receiving personnel, and report unauthorized access attempts or irregular activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking locations, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
