Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and other security-related policies appropriate to a technology and media-focused location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors, verify identification and/or authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access in accordance with post orders and property guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, while observing for unusual activity, access control issues, and security-related concerns.
  • Support front entrance and reception functions as assigned by assisting with visitor processing, directing foot traffic, maintaining professional presence, and following emergency response activities when needed.
