Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain access logs, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating clearly with personnel and first responders when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and controlled access areas, observing for potential security-related concerns, equipment issues, and unauthorized access attempts.
Support vehicle and delivery access procedures by checking identification, confirming approved entry, and following post orders related to shipping, receiving, and restricted areas.
