About The Position

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and security-related policies at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, screen visitors and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to production, warehouse, and restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs, badge records, and incident documentation, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations observed during the shift.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, and perimeter, noting conditions that may require follow-up or additional security-related attention.
