About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Role Badge Control in Auburn, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading aerospace and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, support access awareness, and remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized access and unusual activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify access credentials as required by site policy, and support visitor processing and escort procedures in a professional manner.
  • Support security-related operations within an aerospace and defense location by maintaining awareness of restricted areas, reporting hazards and/or maintenance issues, and following post orders and communication protocols.
