As a Security Officer Badge Room Attendant in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, managing access control points, and supporting authorized employee and visitor entry and exit activities.
- Monitor badges, visitor logs, deliveries, and access requests to help support security-related protocols for a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured entry points, and other security-related concerns.
- Document daily activity, access-related issues, and incident details in clear reports, and report maintenance, policy, and/or procedural concerns to site leadership.
