Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and help verify entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
Support routine operations by reporting hazards, equipment issues, and/or unauthorized activity, and by completing assigned reports, logs, and other security-related documentation.
