As a Security Officer - Auto Auction Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license in the job state. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas while verifying credentials, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and reporting suspicious behavior or policy violations.
  • Support site operations by assisting with alarm response, visitor management, and after-hours checks, while maintaining a professional presence and clear communication with staff and/or first responders.
