As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Carry and maintain authorized equipment, including firearms, in accordance with applicable laws, training requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
