Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transportation facilities, offices, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, deliveries, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrol activities, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
