Requirements

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or law enforcement when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols for a financial services environment.
Support cash handling and other high-value operational areas through visible presence, attention to detail, and timely communication regarding suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
