As a Security Officer Armed - Full Time in Georgetown, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to situations with professionalism, provide exceptional customer service and communication, and uphold Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with location-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related concerns.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
