About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring an armed security officer in Houston, Texas. The role involves monitoring security systems and premises to identify threats, responding to incidents, documenting observations, controlling access, and protecting people and property. The schedule is commissioned open availability, and the hourly wage is $17.00–$19.00. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and employees may use DailyPay. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Hold a Level 3 Armed Security License.
• Provide own equipment: weapon, duty belt, two pairs of handcuffs, and two non-lethal items.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license with no restriction B and a clean driving record.
• Demonstrate a stable work history.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to climb stairs, walk, stand, and sit for long periods.
• Have computer and social skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry.
• Be willing and able to work at odd hours and under pressure.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have responsive, strong problem-solving skills.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
