About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries such as commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing client service while following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conducting regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $25.50 per hour, paid weekly, and offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and life insurance. The schedule is 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days on and seven days off, on a rotating schedule.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
Participate in industry-specific security and safety training programs.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
