As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Blanch, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and restricted areas; verify credentials and maintain accurate logs of visitor, vehicle, and personnel activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with facility personnel, law enforcement, and emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, observations, patrol activity, and policy violations, following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.
