About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting in Little Rock, Arkansas. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control, and providing customer service and communication to donors, visitors, and staff. The role includes responding to incidents and emergencies, following site-specific procedures and policies, carrying authorized equipment, and documenting incidents. The schedule is Thursday 5:00 AM–3:00 PM, Friday 5:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Saturday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.61 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least four years of military or law enforcement experience, or a criminal justice degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to donors, visitors, and staff while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency-response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with controlled entry, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with company policies, applicable laws, and site requirements.
• Complete accurate incident documentation.
