Requirements

At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment to address and resolve issues as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the transportation facility and its perimeter, observing for any unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access or actions.
Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential disturbances and/or criminal activity.
Monitor and report on the condition of access points, vehicles, and property, noting any irregularities or maintenance needs.
Communicate professionally and clearly with team members, staff, and local authorities as required.
Complete detailed and accurate incident and activity reports documenting all relevant information during shifts.
Follow all company protocols and client instructions while carrying out assigned responsibilities.
