As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to be alert, responsive, and ready to address any security-related concerns while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

A minimum of 3 years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
Follow protocols for access control, visitor management, and identification verification as required at the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, staff, and law enforcement as necessary.
Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and/or emergency situations.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats to the facility and its operations.
