Requirements

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
Monitor entry points, verify credentials when required, and help support authorized access for tenants, contractors, and visitors in accordance with property rules.
Support security-related operations by preparing detailed reports, communicating with local responders when appropriate, and following post orders for armed assignments.
