Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service while documenting activity. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
Control access through designated entry points by verifying identification, monitoring authorized access, and documenting visitor activity per site requirements.
Carry, handle, and store assigned firearm and related equipment per Allied Universal and site policies, complete required qualifications, and prepare detailed reports of patrols, observations, and incidents.
