As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Possess Pepper Spray Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations and relevant information to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and help maintain controlled entry to restricted areas.
  • Complete accurate reports, activity logs, and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
