As an Armed Security Professional at a premier performing arts venue, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support guests, staff, and performers with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related concerns while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security experience.
  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, performers, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a performing arts venue.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public areas, performance spaces, backstage areas, entry points, and the property perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by event and location.
  • Assist with access control, guest screening, crowd management, and the orderly flow of attendees before, during, and after performances and special events.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, policy violations, and unusual activity according to site procedures.
