About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Response Driver in Wilson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer supporting a financial institutions location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services location.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized entry attempts, and policy violations according to post orders.
• Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas through visible presence, routine inspections, and timely reporting of hazards, maintenance issues, and/or incident details.
