As a Security Officer Armed Protection Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, critical situations, and medical center emergencies in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate facility personnel and first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, support access-control procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
